01
Evidence collection
"What diagnostic evidence exists?"
Your school submits existing observation data, walkthrough records, and evaluation evidence. We do not collect new data. We use what you already have.
02
Instructional vital signs
"What are the key health indicators?"
We measure seven vital signs: student thinking, rigor, lesson internalization, questioning, discourse, checks for understanding, and culture.
03
Diagnostic analysis
"What patterns does the evidence reveal?"
SchoolScan synthesizes all evidence into a comprehensive diagnosis, identifying conditions that are healthy, need attention, or are critical.
04
Instructional health report
"What is the diagnosis?"
Leadership receives a written report with diagnostic findings, underlying conditions, and a recommended treatment plan.
05
Treatment plan
"What should leadership do?"
A facilitated briefing where leadership interprets findings, aligns on priorities, and determines the actions that will improve instructional health.
06
Quarterly follow-up
"Is the system getting healthier?"
Every quarter, SchoolScan performs another assessment. Are coaching efforts working? Which conditions improved? What still needs treatment?
Improvement is not a single report. It is a disciplined cycle of diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and follow-up.
