What leadership is carrying
- Northstar has missed its math growth target for two consecutive cycles.
- Leadership has already clarified instructional expectations, invested in coaching, increased intervention support, and asked teams to focus on the school's math strategy.
- Some classrooms appear to be improving. Others are not. Results remain uneven.
- Staff are frustrated by changing expectations and several improvement efforts running at once.
- Leadership is reluctant to introduce another initiative without understanding why the current strategy appears to be working in some places and not others.
