Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your school, district, or organization. Accounts belong to named individuals and may not be shared. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

Your organization controls who is given access. Impact Ed Solutions may create organizations and issue accounts once an engagement is active.

You may use SchoolScan™ for your organization's internal leadership, planning, and improvement purposes. You may not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access another organization's data, interfere with the service, or use it to evaluate or make employment decisions about individual staff on the basis of SchoolScan™ output alone.

You are responsible for the evidence you submit and represent that you have the authority to provide it. Do not upload information you lack authority to share, or identifiable student records that are not needed for the review, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your organization keeps ownership of its evidence. You grant Impact Ed Solutions permission to store, process, and analyze that evidence, including through AI-assisted processing and our service providers, to deliver the service to you.

SchoolScan™, the Leadership Insight Report™, the Organizational Health Index™, the SchoolScan™ methodology, software, and related materials are the property of Impact Ed Solutions and are protected by intellectual property laws.

For purchased engagements, your organization may use, copy, and share its reports within the organization and with its governing board, funders, and partners for its own purposes. You may not resell reports, copy or reverse engineer the service or methodology, scrape the service, or use SchoolScan™ to build a competing product.

SchoolScan™ uses AI-assisted processing together with structured review. Interpretations depend on the evidence provided and may be incomplete or limited where evidence is limited. Reports describe the strength of the evidence behind each reading.

SchoolScan™ supports leadership judgment; it does not replace it. Your organization remains responsible for its decisions and actions. We do not guarantee any particular educational, academic, or student outcome.

Fees are shown on the Engagements page or in a quote. Organizations may purchase by invoice or purchase order. Submitting a purchasing request does not create an active engagement; an engagement begins once Impact Ed Solutions confirms the purchase.

Invoices are due according to the terms stated on the invoice. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or agreed in writing. Continuous engagements run for the stated term.

We may suspend or end access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the service or other customers. Your organization may stop using SchoolScan™ at any time; fees already due remain payable. After termination, your organization may request deletion of its data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, SchoolScan™ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Impact Ed Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to SchoolScan™ is limited to the fees your organization paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.

If your organization and Impact Ed Solutions sign a separate written agreement, such as a services or data privacy agreement, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for material changes we will provide notice through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance.
